📍 THE CHRONIXX STORY:
Chronixx (born Jamar McNaughton) is a Grammy-nominated reggae artist from Spanish Town, Jamaica, who has become the face of the reggae revival movement. Known for his conscious lyrics, spiritual depth, and commitment to Rastafari culture, Chronixx represents a new generation keeping roots reggae alive.
The son of reggae artist Chronicle, Chronixx grew up immersed in music and Rastafarian teachings. His breakthrough came with hits like "Here Comes Trouble" and "Smile Jamaica," but it's his unwavering commitment to conscious messaging that sets him apart—addressing Black identity, African unity, systemic oppression, and spiritual awakening.
This unplugged performance showcases Chronixx at his most vulnerable and powerful—stripped down to pure voice, acoustic instruments, and truth.
